How it works
The claims process, step by step
Most of the process happens between us and your adjuster.
Submit your estimate request
Photos of the damage, your claim number if you have one, and a few details about the vehicle. Takes about five minutes.
We contact your adjuster
We coordinate directly with your carrier — initial estimate, documentation, authorization. You don't have to be the go-between.
Inspection and supplement approval
After disassembly, hidden damage gets documented and submitted as a supplement. We wait for carrier approval before touching anything additional.
Repair, inspection, pickup
OEM parts where required. Multi-point inspection before delivery. You pay your deductible at pickup — we settle the rest with the carrier.
Know your rights
You choose your shop. Not your insurance company.
In every U.S. state, you have the legal right to choose any licensed collision repair shop — regardless of what your insurer recommends. They can steer. They cannot require.
Common questions
What customers ask about insurance
Do I have to use the shop my insurance recommends?
No. In every U.S. state, you have the legal right to choose your own collision repair shop. Your insurance company can recommend shops in their Direct Repair Program — and DRP shops do offer benefits like faster approvals — but the choice is always yours.
Will my repair cost more if I don't go through a DRP shop?
No. Insurance pays for the repair at agreed-upon rates regardless of which shop you choose. The advantage of a DRP shop is process speed, not price.
What if the adjuster's estimate is too low?
This happens often. We document the discrepancy, submit a supplement with photos and line-item justification, and negotiate with the carrier directly. You don't pay the difference on legitimate repairs.
What if hidden damage is found mid-repair?
Normal and expected on most structural repairs. We stop, document it, submit a supplement, and wait for approval before continuing. We keep you updated at every stage.
Who pays my deductible?
You do, at pickup. The deductible is the out-of-pocket amount you agreed to when you bought your policy. We collect it from you and bill your carrier for everything else.
How long does a claim typically take?
Most standard repairs are authorized within 1–3 business days once we submit the initial estimate. Complex structural repairs or supplement disputes can take longer — we communicate every delay.
