Insurance & claims
We work with your insurance — directly.
You don't have to call your adjuster three times to get a repair authorized. That's our job. We coordinate with your carrier from claim opening through supplement approval to final payment — so your time goes back to you.
How it works
The claims process, step by step
-
Submit your estimate request
Photos of the damage, your claim number if you have one, and a few details about the vehicle. Five minutes.
-
We contact your adjuster
If you're filing a claim, we coordinate directly with your insurance carrier. You don't have to be the middleman.
-
Inspection and approval
We schedule the in-person inspection, document hidden damage if discovered, and submit supplements to your adjuster as needed.
-
Repair and pickup
OEM parts where required, manufacturer-approved procedures, multi-point inspection. You pay your deductible at pickup — we handle the rest with the carrier.
Common questions
What customers ask about insurance
Do I have to use the shop my insurance recommends?
No. In every U.S. state, you have the legal right to choose your own collision repair shop. Your insurance company can recommend shops in their Direct Repair Program — and DRP shops do offer benefits like faster claim approvals — but the choice is yours.
Will the repair cost more if I don't use a DRP shop?
No. Insurance pays for the repair at agreed-upon rates regardless of which shop you choose. The "savings" from a DRP shop are usually process savings — fewer back-and-forth calls — not price savings.
What if hidden damage is found after the repair starts?
This is normal. After we disassemble the damaged area, we often find additional damage. We document it, submit a supplement to your carrier with photos, and wait for approval before continuing. We keep you updated through every stage.
Who pays my deductible?
You do, at pickup. The deductible is the amount you agreed to pay out of pocket when you bought your policy. We collect it from you and bill your insurance for the rest.
